From Coronoa – Who?…. to Corona Creative!

 

“2020 Has been a Quite a Year and it’s only April!”

Amidst the news of the Corona Virus and the consistent flooding of information, I thought about sharing an interesting article with you. As a young entrepreneur and business owner, I know this period of time can often be overwhelming for some, with the shift in work-space, an influx of telecommunication via online conference calls, and lastly the social-distancing.  But throughout this time period I actually have taken to the time to rejuvenate, truly pause, and learn to hone into my creativity.

A huge bonus about this time at home is it now gives us an outlet to get back our roots, of simplicity, re-define our relationships, and honor more of our precious quality time with distant friends and most importantly our family. I came across a great read from American Lifestyle which touches on some of the most promising Design Apps, which brings life… right to our homes… at the palm of our hands.

My favorite apps on this list are : Houzz, and Pinterest. Both platforms are extremely user friendly and cheap…. they are FREE! What’s better than that?

Pinterest I utilize for a great deal of home designing, new recipe compilations, organization pins, and you cannot forget paint, fashion, and home decor.

Houzz does a phenomenal job of bring the interior and “homely” aesthetic straight to your smart phone. One of my favorite features is the interactive designs where you can search and see what tools, fixtures, paint, and hardware were used as elements in creating these beautiful spaces.

Your home is a direct reflection and extension of our lives. Why not make sure to tells the best, most authentic, and original story there is. There is no one made just like you, maybe slightly similar, but never an identical copy. Home design doesn’t have to be solely on our experts, gain the courage to get involved in this process. It’s one of the things that I absolutely love is being able to enhance client’s homes with little, simple, addition that pack a mean punch.
